Implant-supported dentures

If you are in good health but missing some teeth, implant-supported dentures are recommended. The implants are titanium or titanium alloy stems that resemble a screw and serve to anchor permanent fixed dentures. After five or six implants are inserted, the bone of the jaw fuses to the implants in two to four months. The dentures can then be anchored securely on the abutment screws.
